In 2024, our landcare forums will be held in the North Central Region, at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre (Prince of Wales Showgrounds) from 8 - 10 May.

Victorian Landcare Forum - Thursday, 9 and Friday, 10 May

The 2024 Victorian Landcare Forum provides an engagement opportunity for the landcare community to promote best practice and share stories, to grow landcare across the state.

Day one - Thursday, 9 May: Forum - topics will include collaborating and combining management practices, aggregating action for landscape scale impacts, water in the landscape and learning from our peers.

Day two - Friday, 10 May: Bus tours - showcasing landcare projects and collaborations in the Bendigo region. You will be able to choose from two different bus tour options.

Program

Dinner - Thursday 9 May from 6pm. 

The dinner following the Victorian Landcare Forum will be held at the All Seasons Resort Hotel. This event will include a presentation from special guest Geoff Park on the Moolort Wetlands project. 

Accommodation

The All Seasons Resort also offers accommodation - please mention that you are attending the Landcare Victoria dinner to unlock a discounted room rate. Camping

Limited camping is available at the Bendigo Showgrounds (same location as Exhibition Centre) - $25 per night for a powered site or $15 per night for a non-powered site. If you would like to book a camping spot, please complete this form.

Landcare Professionals Forum - Wednesday, 8 May 

The 2024 Landcare Professionals Forum provides an opportunity for those working in landcare to come together, gain insights from experts and exchange knowledge with peers.

Topics covered will include: Getting carbon ready, delivering “big picture” projects and mental health, burnout and professional relationships. The day will also include a networking dinner.
