Landcare Victoria Inc. Rules of Association

All rules applying to Member Groups are a condition of membership and are legally binding. Any by-laws or constitution the group adopts must enable the group to fulfil its obligations to Landcare Victoria Inc. 

Landcare Victoria Inc. Strategic Plan 2021-2024

Landcare Victoria Inc recently embarked on an exciting new phase of its development in support of landcare and our members with the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan guiding our direction over the next few years.

Landcare Victoria Inc. Members Council Charter

This Charter outlines the role, structure and purpose of the Landcare Victoria Inc. Members Council - a representative body made up of individual landcarers from across Victoria which provides an essential link between Landcare Victoria as the peak body for landcare in the state, and landcare volunteers on the ground.

Landcare Victoria Inc. Code of Conduct

Each Landcare Victoria Inc. Member Group needs to have a documented code of conduct which covers child safety, bullying, sexual harassment and respect (see Landcare Victoria Inc. Rule 17.15). This is a condition of membership and insurance coverage. Adoption of the Landcare Victoria Inc. Code of Conduct or a similar code covering these issues will satisfy this requirement. 

Landcare Victoria Inc. Complaints Policy

Landcare Victoria Inc. Member Groups are subject to the Landcare Victoria Inc. Complaints Policy and Procedure.

Landcare Victoria Inc. Member Group Grants Policy

This is the policy governing Landcare Victoria Inc. support of Member Group Grants. Landcare Victoria Inc. supports Member Groups to make grant applications where the Member Group is financial for the current financial year, in good standing and has no outstanding obligations associated with other grants or other considerations which may cause the grant application to be prejudicial to the interests of Landcare Victoria Inc. or other Landcare Victoria Inc. Member Groups.  

Landcare Victoria Inc. Child Safety Policy

Each Landcare Victoria Inc. Member Group needs to have a documented Child Safety Policy which conforms to the Victorian Child Safe Standards. This is a condition of membership and insurance coverage. Adoption of the Landcare Victoria Inc. policy or a similar code covering these issues will satisfy this requirement. Please note this policy was updated in 2022 to reflect changes to the Child Safe Standards.

Child Safety Guidelines for Landcare Groups 2022

These guidelines are prepared for organisers of landcare events and activities. They are not mandatory and should be adapted to the relevant circumstances. However, any adaptation must continue to meet the requirements of the Child Safety Policy and any relevant legislation.
